Interesting times
Can it really be a year since we were wondering if the snow was going to prevent us leaving Las Vegas? While some things haven't changed, a lot has at HEXUS, in tech, and in the wider world in the past 12 months.
Of course everything has happened against the background of the Great Recession, and among the industries most threatened by that has been media - even online. HEXUS has always been free to the end-user and ad-funded, but there's nothing like the collapse of the economy to make advertisers think twice before acting.
But what has kept HEXUS going for all these years is what continues to give it strength in these difficult times - its community. Without you guys we are nothing and I wanted to combine my season's greetings with a big thank you for your loyalty, feedback and inspiration.
I'm really excited about 2011. HEXUS is excellently positioned to continue to build and grow, while the tech industry will ensure we're never short of things to write about. On top of that our TV operations continue to go from strength to strength, and we expect to deliver some great new content to you over the next 12 months.
In the meantime have a great Christmas and a top New Year.
