The huge amount of component choice in the PC ecosystem means that changing hardware is straightforward and easy.
Sometimes that change is enforced upon us when a long-serving component dies, sometimes we just want something faster or better because, well, we can. We all suffer from upgradeitis to some degree, right?
It would be fun to know which was the last PC-related component or peripheral that you changed, and why you did it?
For me it was upgrading from a 240GB external SSD to a 500GB model, enabling me to keep the entire library of Steam games and numerous films on one drive.
How about you? Did you replace something that died, or did you splurge out because you simply wanted a better graphics card or CPU? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments facility below.
