Today, Windows Live announces the first refresh of the Windows Live Wave 4 Beta, since its launch in late June. The refresh incorporates updates and new features to Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Photo Gallery, Windows Live Movie Maker, Windows Live Mail, Windows Live Writer and Windows Live Family Safety.
In a bid to reduce the social media overload people are experiencing, one of the key updates is the inclusion of Facebook Chat in Windows Live Messenger. Consumers will now be able to see if their Facebook friends are online and initiate a chat with them from Messenger while their friend chats back to them from Facebook enabling richer conversations.
