Shake it baby, ooh yeah... and smile!

For those of you that love you music on the go and prefer to carry fewer gadgets, the W910, is a beauty with loads of music related features, the oddest one being the shake-it-to jostle music selection where you literally shake the W910 to flick through your tracks and select tunes to play. Cue loads of irate technophiles rattling their phones as they accidentally skip past the songs they wanted. Another cool feature is the Sense Me software which can organize your playlist according to the mood and tempo of the song... so finally you can get Enya out of the middle of your thrash metal fest... you sensitive soul.

Next up is the K850, a Cybershot phone with a 5 megapixel camera and video functions capable of 30 fps, more than enough for smooth happy-slapping action or really good quality video clips of distant singers at a concert. There's a Xenon flash that doubles as a video light too, so for standard, nay, higher than standard camera phone piccies, you're well sorted.

No word on pricing yet but expect these beauties in time for Christmas.

where is that quote from? It's not in the article, and actually doesn't make a lot of sense if you ask me :)

Try new ways to choose track. SensMe™ lets you pick a song or create a playlist by mood. To randomly select a song by the flick of your wrist, use Shake control.

£299.99 Direct from Sony Ericsson, Sim Free

K850i

£419.95 from Expansys (not sure how reliable that price is)

Both of these phones are on my list, to replace my current phone sometime next month.
I have one of the only 3 K850is my local Carphone Warehouse got in stock. Unfortunately they only had the green version on Orange - the black, silver & blue one would have looked just right with my Samsung monitor =)

The phones great - especially after a gruelling 15 months with an LG chocolate :angst: The camera's resolution is more than my girlfriend's camera and phone put together! The big plus is that the PC software actually works although as usual linking with the pc over bluetooth has so far been elusive…

Only had it 2 days but highly recommend :)

Edit: Oh, forgot to say - the handset would have been £220 on a £25 monthly Orange contract but to band 5 customers (top band), free as an upgrade on a 18 month renewal. Result I feel… =)
