The Wii's Mii channel will allows gamers to create clones of themselves, family, friends or even famous people - if that's your cup of tea. The characters that we create will be cartoon-style animations, but there is a fair degree of customisation that should allows us to craft these mini people with a fair degree of accuracy.
Every feature of these characters can be amended from height and weight to putting cute freckles on their faces. It appears that you can create dozens of theses characters and save them on your wii-mote, we have no idea what you do with them then.
Each character you create lines up in name or gender order in some sort of bizarre clone gallery where you can pick and choose the ones you would like to save, but there must be more to it. We'd guess Nintendo have plans to bring these characters into their games. It's the sort of feature that kids will love playing with, and secretly we want to play too!
Update The first game to use the Mii function will be Big Brain Academy!
