Here at last?
Nokia's eagerly anticipated E7 handset has appeared on Vodafone's website with a ‘coming soon' tag.
Originally unveiled back in September at Nokia World, the handset was expected to makes its UK debut last year and news of its arrival had gone very quiet.
However, interested people can now register their interest on Vodafone's website, although no official release date or price for the E7 has been revealed yet.
The E7 is a Symbian 3 handset with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard as well as a touchscreen. It also boasts an OLED screen, 8MP camera and HSMI-output.
Commentators have speculated that Nokia's high spec handset could cost around £500 PAYG and it will be interesting to see how pricey the tariff deals will be. Three confirmed it would stock the E7 in the New Year.
Meanwhile, Electricpig has reported that Vodafone will also be selling the LG Optimus 3D handset as soon as it is available in the UK.
While no pictures are currently available and the handset is expected to be outed at Mobile World Congress, Vodafone reportedly told the website: "It will come to Vodafone. As soon as it's launched, we will bring it to the UK."
While little is known about the handset other than it will have a 3D screen without the need for silly specs, it is the first confirmation that the handset will be available in the UK.
