Google Android v4.03, high quality IPS screen and £100 worth of free software and Apps for an affordable £179.99

LONDON, 14th June, 2012: disgo, a developer of consumer technology products for today's gadget hungry consumer, has today announced the launch of its most advanced and affordable tablet, the disgo Tablet 9104. Running Android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) along with the latest in tablet technology including a 9.7" capacitive IPS display, the disgo 9104 aims to lead the market by bridging the gap between quality and affordability with an RRP of £179.99.

The disgo 9104 is packed full of advanced features including the 9.7" capacitive IPS display with 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, 1.2 GHz Boxchip Cortex A8 ARM processor, 1GB DDR3 system memory, 16GB flash storage and front 0.3MP & 2.0MP rear facing cameras.

Available in the UK and Ireland at retailers on the high street and online from June 2012, the disgo 9104allows easy multitasking, rich notifications, customisable home screens, widgets, and deep interactivity that adds powerful new ways of communicating and sharing. It includes "disgo apps" for easy access to everyday favourite Apps and Slide ME store that allows fast and easy access to 1000s of Android Apps. The tablet also comes with stereo speakers, 3.5mm headphone out and built in microphone, making it ideal for watching videos and making calls.

Content can be stored on the disgo 9104's 16GB onboard storage, but is expandable to 48GB with a micro-SDHC card. It is compatible with the majority of digital content including Flash 11.1, allowing viewers to enjoy streaming video. The disgo 9104 comes with the functionality desired by many including families, students and cash conscious consumers. However, it also has appeal for business users as it offers a cost effective solution for working from home or on the go; a necessity with this year's Olympics.

Luke Noonan, Purchasing Director at disgo, commented: "We are proud to launch the 9104 as disgo's flagship product and believe it will cement our place as one of the leading tablet manufacturers delivering the latest technology at affordable prices. Our experience tells us that many consumers are looking for a happy medium between cost and function in the tablet market and the obvious players are not always the most affordable choice. The 9104 fills the void in the market for a high spec tablet for less than £180."
