Drivers and Conclusion

A driver CD was supplied with this mouse that included the most recent drivers, the installation for the drivers too about 5 seconds from start to finish and didn’t even require a restart, brilliant!

The drivers supplied with this mouse aren’t necessary, the mouse will function perfectly well without them, including DPI switching and perfect gaming performance, but if you prefer your mouse to include a bit more then they’re very good. You can set each button to pretty much anything you can do with a mouse. The DPI of this mouse can also be adjusted in the drivers, although there is a toggle on the mouse that can do this.

Pros:

·         Extremely comfortable

·         Good pricing

·         90 - 5040DPI sensor

·         Unique shape

·         Adjustable weight

·         Good glide

Cons:

·         Not suitable for a “claw” grip

·         Too slippery at times

Nice review Matty, keep it up :)
I've been playing on and off with one of these for a while now.

I love how easy it glides compared to other mice I use and keep meaning to replace my MX700 with one of these.

I always used the DPI switching at work and missed that when I went home :)
Good one Matty, thanks
does it slide out of your hand Matty?

Is it a tad too slippery?

I find it fits my hand perfectly well and the extreme slippiness of the mouse is usually compensated for within about 5 minutes of using it, but I am using it with all the weights added as well as the additional side rest to fit my pinky onto.

The only issue I have with this mouse is the plastic is soooooo shiney, that if you are like me and suffer from warm hands all the time, you will get a perfect handprint on the mouse dried onto the surface if you leave it for a break and go back to it. It's only a small niggle to whinge about, but after a while you forget about it :)

I've had mine setup at home now for 3 days and the others ( 11 year old, 16 year old and a 18 year old) who have access to my PC have said that once they got used to the mouse, they liked it, esp the mode button which changes the light colour, and the DPI switch on the mouse as well.
