Following a successful trial period in December, Microsoft has re-launched its 'Deal of the Week' service for Xbox Live Arcade users, which will allow us to pick up certain games each week at a fraction of the original price.

To kick things off, Jonathan Blow’s Braid has had 400 Microsoft points shaved of its price and can now be downloaded for 800 points.

Braid is an artful puzzle-platformer where challenging, yet accessible puzzles are solved by manipulating time. From your house in the city, journey to a series of worlds solving puzzles that help you rescue an abducted princess. Time behaves differently in each world, and every puzzle shows you something different about the world. The time behaviors include rewinding, independent time streams, time that is tied to space, parallel realities, time dilation, and perhaps more.

Braid received universal acclaim on its release last year, scoring a 93% average on review aggregation site, Metacritic.

Further offers are expected to be announced at the beginning of each week.
