The bad news is it does nothing worth shouting about, but merely contains code to ‘prepare for future growth of the service,’ which will include a community channel and a new 3D interface.

It's also been confirmed that Xbox 360 will be getting a new avatar system in which we'll be able to customise our characters in a variety of styles with thousands of purchasable items.
