If rumours that Microsoft and Sony are planning to unveil their respective remote motion-sensing controllers at E3 next week are true, then they're certainly finding it difficult keeping the lid on the news.

Yesterday, the first picture of a remote motion-sensing PS3 wireless controller was apparently spotted on a manufacturer's website docked inside a pistol accessory and now a Microsoft executive appears to have accidentally leaked proof that Microsoft also have a similar controller in development.

In a video interview with IGN, with Microsoft executive, Ken Lobb, spoke about an upcoming game by developer Rare, called Banjo-Kazooie: Nut & Bolts.

The primary function that Kazooie has in the game is she carries this wrench, and the wrench is used for many different things.

One of the things that the wrench is used for is to turn these devices. So you basically grab with the wrench and then you twist the controller around and it’ll move different things in the game.

Seems like conclusive proof then? Microsoft is still keeping its cards close to its chest on this one, with no official announcement yet made. E3 is shaping up to be very interesting indeed.

UPDATE : Microsoft deny rumour.

"There is no truth to this speculation. Ken's comment is in reference to rotating the left analog stick while hitting the X-button to move different things in the game."

Twist the controller around he said!
