Microsoft will apparently be releasing new Xbox 360 deals across Europe in a bid to be the number one selling console this Christmas. In addition to the Arcade console, which launches on the 26th October, Microsoft are reported to soon be announcing a new Xbox live arcade offer. Although this hasn't yet been confirmed by the company, a number of sites are stating that if you recommend a friend to buy an XBox 360 between November 1st 2007 and January 31st 2008, you'll both be given 10 live arcade games for free.

All you'd have to do is take the receipt and mail it into Microsoft. This pdf file shows what looks like a Spanish version of the deal.

The ten games are said to be:
Sensible World of Soccer
* Sonic the Hedgehog
* Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting
* Bomberman LIVE
* Marble Blast Ultra
* Spyglass Board Games
* Small Arms
* 3D Ultra MiniGolf Adventures
* Assault Heroes
* Zuma Deluxe

We're still waiting for confirmation, so don't get promising your friends something you can't deliver just yet.
