We've known for some time that Microsoft were planning to release a new console package called 'Xbox 360 Arcade' and now, thanks to the first pictures from Ars Technica , the bundle has now been confirmed.

Until Microsoft step forward to confirm its existence, we're still in the dark over the actual pricing, although numerous gaming sites are reporting it will retail at $279.99 and will replace the existing core bundle.

Included in the package will be a 256MB memory card, five arcade games: Boom-Boom Rocket, Pac-man, Uno, Feeding Frenzy, and Luxor 2, and a wireless controller.

The new SKU is expected to launch at some point in the next four weeks.
