Nintendo Germany boss Bernd Fakesch has narrowed down the expected price of Wii in Europe. According to Reuters Fakesch made an off-the-record comment at the Games Convention, saying, "The price has not been decided yet, but I expect it to be less than 250 Euros."

He also commented on the sales forecast for Nintendo's next gen console and "said the firm hoped to sell 4 million units of Wii globally by the end of the year, and reach sales of 6 million by the end of March 2007."

If we take the Euro price based on the current exchange rate it means that Wii will retail at under £169.
