Retailers didn't react kindly to the decision by Nintendo in March this year to raise the trade price of its Wii console by approximately £20, but now the price of Wii is set to fall in line to approximately what it was trading at before the rise. This will allow retailers to drop the price in store.
The price drop is set to kick in on October 2nd with a new bundle pack confirmed that will give gamers better value for money. MCV reports that the new Wii bundle will consist of the console, a WiiMote, one nunchuck controller, a MotionPlus peripheral and copies of both Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.
The report suggests that the price to consumers will be £179.99
