The ass-kicking ninja Naruto is set for another clash of wits and skill in the next instalment of the anime fighting series later this year.

Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 will be designed specifically to take advantage of the Wii-mote and Nunchuck controls and promises a long list of characters from the Naruto Universe.

Set after Sasuke leaves the Leaf Village to gain more power from Orochimaru, the title offers a slew of playable characters, including those developed especially for the storyline. They’ll be destructible stages, along with four-player multiplayer battles and we’re also promised a well-balanced fighting engine and an original storyline, and not only that, don’t get too excited now, the game will support widescreen (16:9) and progressive scan at 480p! Wow.

A release date has yet to be confirmed, but we do have some screenshots for you.

Ooooh - Naruto with the crazy Wii controller.

I just hope they've made it so you've got to do the crazy hand signal controls to unleash the fury.

Also, If this is like the first one on the xbox360 I'll be in the queue at GAME/HMV or any other nintendo wii game stockest grabbing this one :)
Graphics look really sylized.

Might be worth a look when it comes out :D

Graphics look really sylized.

They're the same as the cartoon so it gives it a more authentic look and feel which works extremely well :)
Big fan of Naruto, hopefully they'll get the fighting system right.
