Peter Edwards, director of Home platform group at Sony, has revealed that between 25 and 30 per cent of PSN account holders have downloaded the community-based PlayStation 3 service, Home.

Edwards says that the figure is an estimate and the exact amount hasn't been calculated. He also confirmed that there has been 3 million European home server sign-ups and 7 million total Home sign-ups across all servers.

Other statistics revealed confirm that most Home users fit into the 18-35 age bracket and European server Home users sessions average 56 minutes.

Though the Home sign-up figure seems rather low, Edwards said that as content grows more visitors are signing up.
