Sony Computer Entertainment has teamed up with Universal Pictures for a venture that will see entertainment vending machines coming to UK shores, allowing consumers to buy PS3 games, DVD's and Blu-ray discs 24 hours a day.

Stuff.tv has the news and the first pictures of the PoP machines that will soon be rolling out across the UK in cinemas, train stations, universities and gyms.

The vending machines will also sport a touchscreen so that customers can watch trailers before they buy and will enable users to download movies directly to SD cards and MP3 or MP4 players.

Stuff.tv claim that they'll be approximately 150 titles made available at launch.
