Blizzard Entertainment and Xfire have teamed up to give WOW enthusiasts the chance to win $10,000 in the World's largest ever machinima contest. Prizes have also been donated by the likes of AMD, Hypernia, Creative Labs, XFX, D-Link, Corsair, ZBoard and Time Games.The official competition website states that contestants must produce a movie using the World of Warcraft game engine. The competition will be divided into three categories, Dance, Comedy and Drama.
There have already been some hilarious movies circulating around the web so competition is bound to be fierce. For rules, further details and to sign up for the competiton head across to the Xfire website
The closing date is January 21st, 2006 which doesn't leave you much time to get cracking!
