Ubisoft has recently revealed new information about Tom Clancy’s HAWX 2. The sequel to the very popular first game seems to be moving away from the arcade side and more towards realistic flight. Ubisoft have revealed that it will include “all aspects of aerial combat” including takeoffs and landings, air-to-air refuelling, dog fighting, recon missions in UAVs and even laser-guided target bombing.
The game is going to use satellite imagery to create realistic locations and scenery, a massive weak point of the original. Some of the areas that will be included are Moscow, the Arctic Circle and a desert area in the Persian Gulf.
Ubisoft also confirmed that this game will include four-player co-op through the entire campaign as well as “full adversarial multiplayer” with up to 7 other players.
The game is due for a release this autumn but there’s yet to be a confirmed date.
