NVIDIA QUADRO FX 2000 WORKSTATION GRAPHICS SOLUTIONS SET APPLICATION PERFORMANCE RECORDS HP Posts New SPEC Viewperf and SPECapc Results for Newest Member of NVIDIA Quadro Product Family

LONDON - February 10th, 2003 - NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, today announced that the new NVIDIA Quadro® FX 2000 workstation graphics solutions have widened the performance lead with record SPEC Viewperf(tm) 7.0 and SPECapc benchmarks results. HP, a leading global provider of computing and imaging solutions and services for business and home, submitted the NVIDIA Quadro FX 2000 in their latest hp workstation xw5000 system. Based on the results from the Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation's Graphics Performance Characterisation (SPEC) tests - the SPEC Viewperf 7.0 and SPECapc benchmarks
- the NVIDIA Quadro FX 2000 solution has established definitive leadership in the 3D world. The benchmark results and test configuration were posted on February 5, 2003 at http://www.spec.org/gpc/opc.data/vp7/summary.html.

"The NVIDIA Quadro FX solutions deliver the kind of power that is setting new standards for both performance and visual quality in the industry," said Jeff Brown, director of workstation product management at NVIDIA. "The awesome SPEC results confirm these solutions will change the way professionals work and make real-time rendering a reality within CAD/CAM and DCC applications. At the end of the day, productivity will be increased as professionals can shorten iterative processes, reduce design cycles and accelerate time to market."

The NVIDIA Quadro FX family includes the NVIDIA Quadro FX 2000 and NVIDIA Quadro FX 1000 graphics solutions. Utilising the industry's first true 128-bit floating point design and an eight-pipeline, fully programmable graphics engine allow the NVIDIA Quadro FX family to deliver unprecedented levels of realism and interactive sophisticated real-time effects for content development, visual processing and other professional applications. Three parallel vertex engines with an on-chip vertex cache, a radically new line engine coupled to a high-speed DDR-II memory interface, high precision and full-scene antialiasing (FSAA) and support for resolutions up to 3840x2400 QUXGA also set the NVIDIA Quadro FX family apart from the competition.

The complete family of NVIDIA Quadro FX graphics solutions is now in volume production. Retail products will be available later this month from Leadtek in Asia, PNY Technologies, Inc. in the U.S. and Europe, and Technology Joint Corporation/ELSA Japan in Japan.
