System Menu

Click right on the D-pad from the main menu to access the System Menu, the fourth and last panel on the dashboard.

There are many options on this menu to optimize the performance and look of your 360. Change the display so it looks great on your new HD-TV or set the audio to surround sound.

If you have young children in the house you can set the Xbox so that it disables any game with an adult theme, you can even disable specific games.

This is also the menu where you can delete files from the hard rive in order to free up space or amend your billing information.

Microsoft's Xbox 360 dashboard is slick and easy to navigate .I truly believe it's one of the best things to happen to gaming since Xbox Live. With so much console customisation, and so many useful features all easily accessible, this really is an amazing little machine. You lazy gamers out there can even power off the console by simply holding down on the dashboard button in the center of the controller. That's right, no need to get up to turn the console on or off, and with wireless controllers, you won't even have to worry about getting up to get the controller. Microsoft certainly seems to have done just about everything right.

All you need to do now is try and find one to buy!
