To celebrate the first major content update to the fantasy space opera MMORPG, Allods Online, we've teamed up with Gala Networks to give away five special edition prizes with an Allods Online theme.

Allods Online is a subscription-less, MMORPG that features unique player-built and player-controlled astral battleships and the dynamic Astral space to explore, and creates a new standard of co-operative gameplay. Join one of the two factions at war and discover the deep storyline by choosing from one of the 28 classes available and six distinct races. Customise your character and pet with the rich creation system, and level up by completing over 1,500 quests at launch and confronting over 300 unique creatures. Explore and fight your way through dungeons, castles and temples as a group or raid. Allods Online also features Faction vs Faction, Player vs Player and Ship vs Ship combat mechanisms. Players can register and download this free MMO game at the official European website – http://allods.gpotato.eu.

To win one of five special edition box sets which contain:

An Allods Online Branded Wireless Optical Mouse
An Allods Online Branded USB Key
An Allods Online Branded Mouse Mat

Just tell us in 20 words or less what qualities you think make a good MMORPG.

Jump over to the forums to enter the competition. The entries will be judged by an independant person and prize winners will be announced next Friday, 14th May, 2010. Good luck!

The link to the official website you posted appears to be broken
sorted bud.. cheers :)

Anyone playing this yet? Looks mad and intriguing in equal measure.
I started playing this in Closed Beta 3 at the beginning of the year, an interesting game. Some good writing and nice graphics with a bit of an edge to it that's perhaps missing from more sanitised Western games. Things went a bit downhill last week after a bugged patch but most issues appear corrected.

The game is free to play, perhaps ‘real cash is optional’ would be a better description, and can indeed be played all the way to level cap/Astral Ships and beyond without the need to spend a single penny. I certainly recommend giving it a go.

I would determine a good MMORPG to be;

  1. Massively multi-player
  2. Online
  3. Role playing game

Wait what?!
Panda Slapping… online Panda Slapping… ;)
