So is it a phone, or a PDA?

In this reviewers opinion, there is no doubt the M500 is a PDA first and most definitely a phone second. If it was not for the surprisingly effective VoiceDial software that Orange has preloaded on this handset I would almost say this really isn’t a phone in any shape or form. For those of amongst us that use PDA’s and find it’s a hassle to carry a phone as well, this is for you, if you were considering to get this on your next upgrade, don’t do so, not unless the PDA functions are more important to you than the ability to make a call.

I have to say though, I was mightily impressed with the package that Orange has put together with the M500, the standard fare is there, the PDF viewer, Microsoft Word and Excel and quite literally the biggest camera view finder I have ever seen, but this is no phone, it’s a mobile office that squeezes an incredible amount into truly staggering diminutive proportions.
