Nokia World is well under away over in Stuttgart, Germany, and the Finnish communications giant is choc full of announcements. After revealing the specification of its Booklet 3G, it's following up with two new touchscreen mobile handsets.
First up is the Nokia X6, a sharp-looking device that sports a 3.2in touchscreen, 32GB of built-in storage, a 5 megapixel camera with customary Carl Zeiss optics and a dual LED flash.
The handset measures under 14mm thick, and it's dubbed as a device that "will leave music lovers in no doubt as to how they'll be listening to music on the move". With that in mind, it's no surprise to hear that the X6 will be a Comes with Music device - allowing mobile operators to bundle unlimited free music downloads with customer contracts.
As what's effectively a successor the 5800 XpressMusic, we presume the handset will be sporting a variant of the Symbian S60 operating system, and Nokia has confirmed that it'll be kitting it out with Ovi Maps (powered by A-GPS) and a browser with Flash Lite support.
If that sounds like too much to handle, there's a trimmed-down alternative in the form of the Nokia X3.
The X3 is a Series 40 slider that features a smaller 2.2in touchscreen and a 3.2 megapixel camera. It'll support up to 16GB of storage via a microSD expansion slot, and have access to Nokia's Ovi application store.
Both handsets are expected to ship in Q4 with the X6 priced at €459 and the X3 at €115.
