Iqua’s innovation with Bluetooth devices doesn’t stop with the Smart Badge, they’re looking at semi-permanent Bluetooth for your car too.

The Snake is a Bluetooth speaker and microphone device that bolts onto the headrest supports of your car, giving you hands free operation while drive without having to have a headset plugged into your ear.

As you can see here, our model (who happens to be Iqua’s Juha Reima), demonstrates how the Snake works in practise. The Snake also comes in yellow or blue leather for the more sporty types and beige for the Volvo drivers out there.

The Snake makes use of hand stitched leather and brushed aluminium to give a stylish look and feel that wouldn’t be out of place in most of the more expensive cars on the market. The DSP and noise cancelling technology means the Snake will pick up your voice while you carry on with your normal driving and the adjustable arm is short enough to not encroach upon movement or visibility as you drive.

Alongside the Snake, Iqua re also showing the Snake 2, this is an all metal construction Snake that uses exactly the same principles and technology as the Snake but is aimed at a lower budget market. It doesn’t have the hand stitched leather or the Velcro strapping for attachment but uses screws in the back of the unit to secure it.
