Adding to its existing range of O!Play TV set-top boxes, ASUS has revealed the O!Play TV Pro, which enables playback of HD media and digital TV content and comes with a built-in digital recorder.
It’s the Taiwanese manufacturer’s most fully-featured set-top box to date, equipped with a built in DVB-T digital tuner, an internal 3.5” hard drive, and an electronic programme guide to facilitate recording up to one week in advance. There’s also the handy option of being able to pause and resume broadcasts in real time.
You can connect O!Play to other devices and network for streaming HD content from your PC or mobile and the unit brandishes USB and card ports that support SD/MMC/MS/xD cards and over 50 multimedia formats
At launch, ASUS
says that O!Play TV Pro will support Acetrax, Facebook, YouTube
Leanback, DailyMotion, Flickr, and Picasa with further features and
online content to be added with future firmware updates.
