PRESS RELEASE
TP-Link’s Wi-Fi Smart Plug with Energy Monitoring enables consumers to control devices wherever they are in the world
Homeowners can now control connected devices with their voice or the swipe of a finger wherever they are in the world, thanks to a new smart plug from TP-Link, a leading global provider of reliable networking solutions.
Householders can also control the smart plug at the touch of a screen via TP-Link’s free Kasa app, which is compatible with Apple and Android devices.
The smart plug also works with Amazon Echo*, the e-tailer’s hands-free voice activated hub, which features Alexa the personal assistant.
TP-Link smart plugs are reliable, cost-effective, simple to use and easy to add to a home network to create a seamless connected experience. Half of all householders find remote control of their home’s lighting attractive, a study suggests.¹
The HS110 can also analyse a house’s real-time and historic energy consumption. It complements the TP-Link Wi-Fi Smart Plug (HS100) which comprises the same features, minus energy monitoring.
Will Lui, country manager at TP-Link UK Ltd, comments: “Time-pressed householders want simple, cost-effective solutions that enable them to organise their busy lives when away from home. TP-Link’s smart Wi-Fi plugs provide peace of mind wherever they are in the world.”
