Hemel Hempstead, UK. 20.08.15. Consumer electronics manufacturer and AV specialist Hannspree launched its first smart watch earlier this year and made the headlines with a highly affordable £29.99 price tag. Now, Hannspree is pleased to announce the roll out of four new smart watch models offering a variety of functionalities and designs to appeal to different lifestyles. Heart rate monitors, music players, remote camera shutters, voice recorders, sim support are just a few highlights featured in the new range.
Active 24 – RRP: £49.99
Designed to function primarily as an activity tracker, the Active 24 smart watch is perfect for casual fitness use and as an everyday wellbeing device. Its soft (washable) wrist band design is both comfortable and practical especially during physical activities, and is a fun nod to the retro sweat band made popular back in the 80’s. The main features of the Active 24 include: heart rate sensor and monitor, calories burnt tracker, distance calculator, and pedometer. It boasts a long battery life, is splash resistant and is supplied with 2 wrist bands (green and orange). The Active 24 comes with a handy specialist app (downloadable) which includes maps to log routes taken and can monitor historical data for multiple users.
Prime – RRP £59.99
The new Prime from Hannspree is a standalone Smart Watch boasting integrated SIM support. It can pair with a smartphone to relay alerts of incoming calls and messages but most notably it can support an independent SIM and provide most of the features and functionalities of a smartphone such as; sound recording, music player, contacts menu, on-board camera, it even offers a remote camera shutter. In addition to smartphone functionality the Hannspree Prime also includes a wealth of features to help maintain a healthy lifestyle, achieve personal fitness goals and can even track sleep patterns.
Legend – RRP £69.99
Classic, smart and functional! The Hannspree Legend is a traditionally designed wristwatch with added smart functionality. Its premium leather watchband has an adjustable design which provides a comfortable fit and because of its standard size, is easily changeable. The Legend also features a large high definition touch screen which is scratch proof and is housed by strong brushed metal high quality alloy. Wellbeing is high up the agenda for the Legend. It monitors and tracks a variety of health related statistics including; activity duration, calories burned, step counter distance travelled… all of which is precisely calculated using heart rate, gender, age and weight data via the app. The Legend is the perfect travel companion. Not only does it boast a music player and smartphone pairing it also includes a barometer, thermometer and altimeter. Caught out in the rain? No problem, the Legend is splash proof. Lost your smartwatch? Use the ‘find my device’ function to be reunited.
Pulse RRP £89.00
The Hannspree Pulse radiates quality with traditional watch workmanship. The all-metal frame is made of stainless steel which is both hardwearing and rustproof. The strap is hypoallergenic calfskin leather. The round design of the high definition capacitive touch screen includes IPS display technology for super wide viewing angles and a 360° cambered surface maximises the display area to provide the perfect touch experience. Featuring a high end optical heart rate sensor the Pulse can accurately, continuously and safely monitor heart rate to provide accurate data and helpful insights into exercise and sleep quality. After a heart rate test the Pulse’s mobile app allows users to share results with family and friends. A stopwatch enables accurate timing, and for dedicated fitness users, an idle alert feature is included. Of course, the Pulse is also a smartphone companion enabling users to answer, dial and make calls directly and hands free. It also supports email and SMS notifications allowing users to read messages quickly and to stay connected anytime, anywhere. Thanks to a high capacity battery, the Pulse has a long battery life. The Pulse will keep going from a full charge for 2 days of standard use, or a week in standby mode.
All of Hannspree wearable devices are compatible with both Apple and Android operating systems via Bluetooth allowing users to make use of the available mobile apps.
