Myfox Home Alarm and Myfox Security Camera prevent a break-in before it happens while protecting a user’s privacy
London, UK - 12th June 2015 - Myfox, the world’s first proactive smart home security solution, today announces the UK launch of its Myfox Home Alarm and Myfox Security Camera. Creating a reliable home security system, both products have been designed to safeguard a family’s home and possessions by preventing a potential break-in before it happens while protecting a user’s privacy. Thanks to a sleek and simple design, the products are discrete, reassuring and non-intrusive. Set-up can be completed within minutes with no wires or drills.
Recent winners of a CES Innovation Award, an iF Design Award and Red Dot Product Design Award, the products work together or separately and use a family of connected sensors to create a serious deterrent from burglaries and intruders.
Using the Myfox Security Smartphone App, users can control both the Home Alarm and Security Camera centrally. The app guides new users through the set-up process with simple, step-by-step instructions. It also allows homeowners to invite trusted friends and neighbours to access the security system and alerts them via a text message if there is an intrusion. Different permission levels can be granted to allow the trusted network to deactivate the alarm or check in on the owner’s home via the Myfox Security Camera. The app is a free download available for iOS and Android devices.

The Myfox Home Alarm uses patented IntelliTAG™ technology housed in individual sensors that attach to doors and windows around a home. Each sensor detects the difference between normal, everyday events that may disturb windows and doors and a serious security threat. The Myfox key fob fits easily on a key ring for hands-free system disarming, automatic user recognition and a panic button in case of an emergency.
This allows homeowners to quickly arm and disarm the security system and check who’s coming and going. Its powerful, 110 dB siren will startle intruders and make family and neighbours aware that something is wrong along with apush notification that is immediately sent to the user’s smartphone.

With its unique and remotely controllable privacy shutter, the Myfox Security Camera can be used with the Home Alarm to act as the system’s eyes, or on its own to serve as a high performance security camera. It has a wide-angle lens with night vision that watches over a home and uses motion detection sensors to identify unexpected movement when the house is empty. The camera also features a two-way microphone that lets home owners stay in touch with family members when they leave or return to the house.
