My Keepon, the little yellow robot, which has been tipped by Toys"R"Us in the USA to be a "must-have" toy this Christmas is selling out fast. Since Wow! Stuff secretly unveiled it to toy buyers in Jan 2011, this unique toy has captured the imagination of Hamleys, Play.com, Argos and Firebox as they placed orders confident in their predictions it would be a top hit in the UK as well.
With stock of the innovative robot selling out fast in the USA there is likely to be a last minute rush as parents desperately try to get their hands on the yellow character in the UK. My Keepon is selling online in the USA between $80 and an incredible $238, way above the listed price at Toys"R"Us.
So what makes this toy different? My Keepon unlike other robotic toys is designed to respond differently every time you play with it - this prevents toy fatigue and makes it seem even more real.
