London, 01 November 2010: T-Mobile UK has today launched the T-Mobile Wireless Pointer – a mobile broadband device designed to help people find the best location for picking up a T-Mobile mobile broadband signal. The new device, which lets users connect any of their Wi-Fi devices when they’re out and about, will be available in stores and online for free on a 24 month contract, or for £59.99 plus £10 top up on T-Mobile’s pay-per-day service.

The T-Mobile Wireless Pointer features a mobile broadband signal indicator to show users what level of signal is being received, allowing them to position the device in the place with the strongest T-Mobile signal, to make sure they get the best possible service. Exclusive to T-Mobile UK, the device has been designed for users on the go and connects easily to Wi-Fi enabled gadgets, with no installation software needed and nothing to plug in to the user’s laptop. Its compact, sleek design means it can be carried in a pocket or bag for wireless access anytime to the internet – whether users want to log on to the internet on their laptop, MP3 player, or tablet PC.

Nicola Shenton, Head of Handset and Device Marketing at T-Mobile UK said: “The quality of mobile internet access is becoming more important to users and so the Wireless Pointer is perfect for those who want to make sure they have the best online experience for all their Wi-Fi gadgets, no matter where they are. With the signal indicator, users can be sure that they’ve got the best connection possible so they can get the most out of whatever devices they’re using.”
