Bedside digital radio launches with new look
London, UK 22nd March 2012: Pure, the world-leading maker of wireless music and radio systems, presents Siesta Mi Series 2, an updated and improved version of Siesta Mi*, that delivers an affordable and user-friendly way to wake up to digital radio and a stress-free transition to British Summer Time thanks to automatic time adjustment.
Siesta Mi Series 2 (SRP £34.99) has been updated with more advanced alarm features and an improved display and is the first product to showcase Pure's colourful new look, which was announced at the recent Consumer Electronics Show to celebrate Pure's tenth anniversary. All new Pure products will come with fresh, colourful and attractive packaging and will feature the company's new logo.
Siesta Mi Series 2 now includes two dedicated keys for programmable alarms which can be set to wake the user to digital radio, FM or a tone and have adjustable day settings (weekend, weekday, etc.) The alarm now rises smoothly to the volume level set by the user and there is a large snooze button and a sleep timer that fades the radio to mute. The large, backlit LCD display is clear and easy to read at night and comes with an improved viewing angle and a light sensor that automatically adjusts to suit the light levels of the room.
Siesta Mi Series 2 has also been engineered to provide surprisingly punchy audio quality and volume for such a compact product. Other features include FM, 16 presets, a headphone socket and a USB socket for future updates.
