PRESS RELEASE

At HIGH END 2011 specialist cable manufacturer, Atlas Cables, will be demonstrating many of its outstanding cable products as well as introducing a number of exciting new products. Pride of place will go to the Asimi range; part of its family of HighV cables achieving a high Velocity of Propagation (VOP) rating. These Asimi interconnect and loudspeakers cables have pure silver conductors and have been designed to be technically and sonically superior to ANY other interconnect and loudspeaker cables available anywhere and at any price!

Also in the HighV family is the Mavros range which has the purest of OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast) copper conductors wrapped in a Microporous Teflon dielectric, newly developed by Atlas. The resulting cables offer exceptionally fast signal transmission and a wide bandwidth and a complete absence of any audible added colourations.

In addition the company will be showing samples of a wealth of new products including superior quality HDMI cables that are designed to transfer more signal information; the new Ascent Ohno Continuous Cast (OCC) unbalanced and balanced audio cables with all copper plugs; together with the new Hyper analogue and digital interconnects and the Mavros AES/EBU and 75 Ohm digital cables fitted with non compressing solder free plugs

From the Atlas Eos power products range visitors will be able to see the new Atlas rhodium power plugs for UK, Europe (Schuko) and the USA; together with the matching Eos power cables with 2 sq mm and 4sq mm conductors to fit comfortably into the plugs.

The demonstration system will be powered by the new Atlas new Balanced Power Supply; a product that will create a lot of interest. This power supply has overcome the many problems associated with line noise and can offer a clean and silent operation. An in-line transformer splits the incoming AC power into inversely phased +/- 115 volt components after which noise artifacts and harmonics are subtracted through phase cancellation leaving two components which are summed together to give a clean 230 volt power feed.

More detailed information on these new products will be available at the show and Atlas can be found at Stand HO4 in Hall 4 and the show runs from the 19th to the 22nd May.
