Creative adopts two-way design in satellites to bring quality audio to
music, gaming and home entertainment

Creative (Nasdaq: CREAF), the worldwide leader in digital entertainment
products for the personal computer and the Internet, announces the Creative
Inspire(tm) T Series family of speakers. Harnessing the latest developments
in technology and design for the PC environment and blending them with
proven developments from the hi-fi arena, this new range offers users a
major step ahead in audio quality.

The T Series consists of three products which deliver, respectively,
high-quality 2.1 stereo for music lovers, high-power 5.1-channel impact for
gaming enthusiasts and a fully immersive 7.1 sound stage for a high-impact
experience in games and movies that include the latest surround sound
effects.

"The secret behind the T Series is the use of a two-way design in the
satellites, an approach that comes from the world of hi-fi audio," explains
Leonardo Colucci, European speakers business manager with Creative. "By
incorporating a tweeter as well as a mid-range driver we give users a
smoother transition between frequencies and a tighter, more focused and
clearer sound picture across the audio stage. The impact is further enhanced
by the wood subwoofer, which provides powerful but detailed bass.

"Combined with Creative's track record in leveraging ground-breaking
technology at all levels of the market, this new family ensures that users
can enjoy even better audio in any speaker configuration," adds Colucci.

The Creative Inspire T2900 is a 2.1 speaker system that brings high quality
stereo sound to the PC world at an SRP of £69.99 including VAT. With dual
two-way 6-Watts RMS satellites and a 17-Watts RMS subwoofer, it produces
effortless high tones and perfectly integrated vocals and instrumentals, all
the way from smooth treble through to detailed mid-range and down to rich,
powerful bass. The system will be available in September and comes with
Creative's Audio Control Pod, the feature-rich wired remote that integrates
M-PORT(tm) connectivity for direct audio playback with compatible Creative
MuVo digital audio players.

The Creative Inspire T5400 is a 5.1 speaker system that brings a fresh
approach to PC audio. The front and centre satellites are based on
Creative's two-way design, and these work alongside the two rear speakers
and a powerful 22-Watts RMS subwoofer to give breathtaking results when used
with any Sound Blaster 5.1 card or above. The system will also up-mix
4-channel input to 5.1 surround. A versatile wired remote with headphone
connector, power, volume and bass controls adds the finishing touch. The SRP
of this speaker system will be £99.99 including VAT with availability in
October.

The Creative Inspire T7700 speaker system delivers true 7.1 surround sound
impact with movies and games. This complete audio entertainment solution
supports Dolby® Digital EX plus DTS-ES(tm) and gives exceptional results
with EAX ADVANCED HD games when used with a 7.1 Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS
card. It can also up-mix 5.1 and 6.1 content to 7.1 surround. The front and
centre satellites feature Creative's two-way design and the system also
comes with a fully-featured wired remote and M-PORT(tm) connectivity for
direct audio playback with compatible Creative MuVo digital audio players.
The Inspire T7700 speaker system will be available at the beginning of
September with a SRP of £119.99 including VAT.

"We are particularly proud of M-PORT connectivity," concludes Leonardo
Colucci. "This is a Creative development which enables users of compatible
Creative MuVo MP3 players to plug their devices directly into our speakers.
We believe that M-PORT is a big step ahead for personal audio pleasure, and
another move towards integration of personal entertainment with the
'digital' world."
