Sharp launches powerful new mini hi-fi range

London, 30 June 2008 – Sharp Electronics has introduced two new mini hi-fi models to its range. The powerful CD-SW340H boasts a whopping 520W RMS output as well as a 5 CD changer and blue flashing lights that follow the beat of the impressive bass. The stylish CD-MPX880H, also with a 5 CD changer, has a 280W RMS output producing sound quality to match its ultra-cool look.

Complete with audio in terminal to enable MP3/MP4 player connection, these mini hi-fi systems offer unparalleled sound quality and are a must for any teenage bedroom. Other features include a mighty X-BASS system with surround sound, AM/FM with RDS and a clock with that all-important alarm/sleep function.

Music lovers – of any age – can also enjoy seamless entertainment and uninterrupted sound with both models continuously playing songs while used discs are replaced.

Sharp has revamped the design of its new mini hi-fi models to complement its stylish silver and piano lacquer black home entertainment product range, including its slim-line AQUOS LCD TVs (from 19 to 52-in) and streamlined Blu-ray disc player.

The CD-SW340H will be available on the UK market from July 2008 with an RRP of £180. The CD-MPX880H is available now and has an RRP of £140. Both models are available on mail order from Littlewoods and Express gifts and in multiples including Brighthouse/ Caversham, Miller Brothers and Powercity.
