Finding a useful website these days isn't exactly easy, but we've stumbled across one that our readers might find interesting.

It's called Bundle Box, and it's designed to help consumers buy products from the U.S. and have them shipped internationally. Why would you want to do such a thing? Well, there could be a few reasons; you might fancy yourself a product available exclusively in the U.S., take Microsoft's Zune HD for example, or you might find that the product you're after is far cheaper if purchased in the States.

If that sounds like you, Bundle Box reckons it can take the guess work out of buying from the U.S. Here's how it works - register for a free account, and you're provided with a Bundle Box shipping address. You can then purchase items from your U.S. retailer of choice and have them sent to your Bundle Box address, which is essentially a warehouse.

Once your purchase arrives, Bundle Box calculates the import duty, VAT and shipping costs, and charges you a fixed amount to have the item shipped internationally. With import duty already taken care of, you don't need to worry about being stung by customs - and if delivery charges seem a little too high, it's also possible to store multiple items and have them shipped together.

Sounds like a useful way to get your hands on U.S. exclusive products, and when the exchange rate is favourable, it could open the door to some useful bargains, too.

We recommend readers analyse the small print first, and if you do decide to give it a whirl, why not share your experience with others in the HEXUS.community forums?

Good stuff. Need to see how much they charge for shipping, etc.
This sounds like a great idea. Will be interesting to see if they can get round the usual grey importer legal hassles by acting as a personal import business - I remember laserdisc companies doing the same thing back in the day :D
Sounds good.. the trouble is, more and more US online retailers are not accepting non-us based credit cards :/
It'll be hilarious when they go bust with everybody's expensive hardware sitting in their warehouses, awaiting the visit of the taxman's bailiffs :/
It's funny how they say they calculate import charges after the warehouse receives your goods, in other words you have no choice but to pay…
