Revenue sharing plan highlighted
A partnership between BullGuard and Gem was announced yesterday. Gem will handle UK distribution of Bullguard’s Internet Security 8.0, and new products Mobile AntiVirus and Gamer’s Edition, under a revenue sharing scheme that rewards registered retailers with a share of online subscription renewals.
‘Gem offers a comprehensive range of logistical and creative added value services to the channel,’ said new Bullguard CEO George Tennet. ‘We are delighted to be working with them to expand our business in the UK.’

BullGuard’s flagship Internet Security suite combines anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall, spam filter, backup and support software in one package optimised for SMB and home users.
As well as software Gem has a heritage in games, counting Xbox, Xbox 360, Take Two, NCsoft games, plus a number of of Logitech and Microsoft products among its repertoire. The distie has recently expanded into the audio-visual, book and toy markets.
