High-end gaming rigs used to be hot, bothered and loud, but times have changed and modern builds needn't show such signs of struggle. Scan's custom fan profiles do well to keep noise down to an acceptable level. You can always hear the system when it's on, but it's far less intrusive than most and, if you're willing to trade temperature, a few tweaks in the BIOS can make it even quieter.
