Benchmarks: Temperature
Keeping a 95W processor cool in a quiet PC can be a challenge; it can get too hot with inadequate cooling, or it can be kept ultra-cool at the expense of noise.
Chillblast appears to have found a useful middle ground, as the equipped Core i5-2500K idles at 31ºC and the system is barely audible.
Put the Core i5 processor under extreme load, and temperatures remain well within the limits.
GPU heat is usually more of a concern, but the Gainward Phantom card is managing to impress by keeping the GTX 560 Ti core running at a relatively-cool 73ºC while gaming.
