Benchmarks: Power Consumption
You've gathered that the Fusion Whisper Mini doesn't go toe-to-toe with the hard hitters in terms of all-out performance, but it aims to offer a better blend of characteristics that should appeal to the more discerning user.
System-wide idle power consumption, for example, is lovely and low at under 60W.
Get the CPU running flat out, and power consumption rises just beyond 150W. By keeping the overclock at a reasonable 4.2GHz, 2D power draw doesn't go through the roof, and, as we'll demonstrate on the next pack, it results in comfortable operating temperatures.
Keeping power consumption down to a minimum is key to a cool and quiet PC, and the GeForce GTX 560 Ti Phantom does allows system-wide power draw close to the 200W mark while gaming.
