Benchmarks: NAS Performance Toolkit and File Copy
Simulating real-world usage scenarios, the NASPT results continue to show that, while not spectacular, the Omninas KD20 is a competent mid-range performer, with speeds generally matching what it says on the tin.
For our final test, we copied over a collection of files totalling 8.83GB and the Shuttle Omninas gobbled them up at a decent-enough rate. Of course, paying more can get you extra performance - the Thecus N2200XXX is testament to that - but the KD20 should stand up to similarly-priced units.
