The added throughput of the SATA 6Gbps interface clearly helps Intel's 120GB 510 Series drive in PCMark's simulated real-world workloads, but it isn't enough - OCZ's older, cheaper Vertex 2 is consistently quicker in all three tests.
And, if it's sheer performance you're after, extreme users should note that a PCIe-based 120GB RevoDrive is available at roughly the same cost. With a pair of SandForce controllers on board, the RevoDrive is comfortably quicker than Intel's 510 Series.
