Iometer confirms what we've seen thus far; hammer the Intel 510 Series with an onslaught of random input/output operations and the drive struggles.

But while IOPs figures carry plenty of bragging rights, they aren't always an indication of real-world performance. Given Intel's strong sequential read speeds, we'd expect the 510 Series SSD to fare better in PCMark Vantage.
