Benchmark: Crystal Disk Mark
The CrystalDiskMark screenshot up above confirms the 510 Series drive's impressive sequential read speed, but we're using this benchmark to see how the drive fares when asked to repeatedly transfer very small uncompressible files at a queue depth of 32.
The simulated workload better represents a server environment and isn't indicative of general consumer use, but the numbers are telling; Intel's 510 Series really struggles with a random workload of numerous small transfers.
