h2benchw
h2benchw is another benchmark that delivers accurate numbers relating to storage speed. We're using version 3.13 here.h2benchw - sequential read speed | ||
---|---|---|
Samsung Spinpoint F1-DT 750GB | Intel X25-M SSD 80GB | Corsair P256 SSD 256GB |
68.32 | 199.53 | 167.52 |
Sequential read speed mirrors that of Iometer, albeit a little lower.
h2benchw - maximum read speed (interface) | ||

Samsung Spinpoint F1-DT 750GB | Intel X25-M SSD 80GB | Corsair P256 SSD 256GB |
172.17 | 147.25 | 181.18 |
The buffer test takes bursting into account. There's something awry with the X25-M's results, no matter how many times we ran it on two separate platforms; it should never be lower than the sequential read speed.
