The Seasonic S12 Energy+ 650W is a quad-rail (+12V) PSU that supports SLI and CrossFire dual graphics setups via dual 6-pin PEG connectors, like those before it in this roundup, and has support for mainboards with EPS connectors (most commonly required for high-end consumer and workstation board, and servers), again just like the others. We see a split EATX connector again, and all main +12V rails are generously specified in terms of current draw, although you obviously can't draw 18A from all four at once!.
Seasonic varies the cable run lengths of the three Molex runs, almost second guessing your in-chassis setup, but it's arguably no worse or better off for it. Next-gen. graphics support is there with 18A on the main +12V sources.
A single 120mm fan takes care of the heat from the unit, and the cable runs are completely braided from end-to-end. Seasonic claims "80 PLUS" compliance, which is a US-led spec. for PSU efficiency, to save energy. In fact, Seasonic reckons the unit is up to 88% efficient, although it neglects to say at what kind of load (unless we missed it). A two-forward switching circuit is common in this type of supply and Seasonic explicitly advertises its PSU core for this unit as using that topology.
Somewhat uniquely, and very awesomely, the fan internal to the supply is mounted on rubber grommets to stop vibration and noise. Nice!
The bundle is, well, the same as pretty much every other bundle for a non-modular supply. The bare essentials and nowt else, guv'.
