Noise and temperature

Running silently at 400W and then breaking out into a steady hum as we approach full load, the HX 1000 does a very good job at keeping relatively quiet in all situations. You'll hear the CPU or GPU fan over the PSU fan in most circumstances.

High efficiency usually leads to low-ish temperatures. Rounding out a number of impressive tests, the test sample is acceptably cool even at full load.
