If you’re looking for a really comfortable mouse pad, I would certainly recommend the X-trac Optical Mouse pad. This is a great cheap pad ideal for optical mice. The price of the pad is around €12.95 (£8.99). For the price of an Everglide mouse pad you could buy two X-trac Pads and receive very similar performance. If you are within Europe you can purchase X-trac products from Dex Systems.
