Foxconn probably wouldn't be many people's first choice when looking for a board with an expansive array of enthusiast-orientated options. Combine that with the microATX form factor and expectations are low.

Yet, recently, Foxconn has been making some definite concessions to enthusiasts.

Foxconn G33M-S
Item Specifications
CPU FSB

800-3000MHz (QDR, 1MHz increments)

CPU multiplier CPU min 6x – CPU max 9x (1x increments)
PCI-E clock N/A
Memory clock DDR2-667/800
CPU voltage offset -731.25 - +275mV (6.25mV increments)
Memory VDIMM 1.68-2.36V (varies)
NB voltage 1.16-1.62V (0.03V increments)
PCIe voltage

1.38-1.95V (0.03/0.04V increments)

Okay, not a comprehensive range of options but not a complete disaster either and not bad compared to many microATX boards. CPU Vcore can be manipulated through the awkwardly-named CPU Voltage Offset.

Hopefully, Foxconn will add further overclocking options in later BIOSes, though this is by no means certain.

The BIOS is also capable of controlling the system fans to minimise noise, making it even more of a shame that only two fan headers are included on the board.
